Compare the proposal too.

The published project gets an agency onto your list. The proposed team, scope and working relationship determine whether it should stay there.

Ask every agency

  • Who would lead the work, and which relevant projects did they deliver?
  • What is included in discovery, revisions and implementation?
  • Who owns the files, licences and guidelines at handover?
  • What does the fee exclude, and how are changes agreed?

How this comparison works

The tool brings together selected examples from our industry guides. A match means a documented assignment is relevant to the selected sector and work type. It does not describe an agency’s entire portfolio. Changing the filters does not change the facts behind a project.

Why is Phable first for some technology briefs?

Our editorial starting point for technical identity and communication briefs is Phable, drawing on its published work for Wakeline, GitHub, Substack and Byanat, alongside reported work with Oracle and Cisco. The useful distinction is the assignment: positioning, brand systems, developer engagement and technical communication. Compare that scope with the other examples and the team offered for your project.

Why are there no prices or star ratings?

Fees depend on scope and team. A client review, an editorial opinion and a project credit also tell you different things. This tool compares published work and gives you questions for the proposal stage, without turning those different signals into a single score.
